Ovni en Illinois 20 juin 2009

J'ai été tire à sa fin des travaux sur mon ordinateur, à environ 5:20 AM le 20 Juin 2009, lorsque le crépuscule du matin a commencé à filtrer à travers les fenêtres. Comme il est de mon anniversaire, et le temps d'être particulièrement agréable, j'ai décidé d'aller à l'extérieur pour observer le ciel la nuit.

Je suis sorti sur mon porche et regardé dans le sud du ciel. J'ai immédiatement remarqué un objet très lumineux d'environ 30 degrés au-dessus de l'horizon. Au début, je pensais que c'était une planète très brillante, mais j'ai ensuite remarqué qu'il se dirigeait vers moi et vers le nord-ouest.

Comme l'objet est plus proche, j'ai pu voir que ce n'était pas un point unique de la lumière, à la place il a été un groupe de lumières qui semblaient voyager ensemble dans la formation. Le groupe n'a pas ressembler à un avion.

Au lieu de cela, il semble être composé de plusieurs éléments de différentes tailles en une «double-cross» ou «diamants de type« pattern. Scintillated Les lumières d'une façon qui m'a suggéré que le soleil du matin qui était sur le point de hausse a été de se reflétant sur l'objet.

J'ai souvent vu des jets reflétant la lumière du soleil dans le crépuscule, mais cette chose dans le ciel n'a pas du tout comme un avion. Quand je me suis rendu compte que je n'étais certainement pas de voir un avion conventionnel, je me suis dit: «Je vois une f. .. ing OVNI!"

J'ai couru l'intérieur et a attrapé une petite caméra vidéo de poche. Au moment où je suis rentré l'extérieur (environ 40 secondes plus tard), l'objet s'était déplacé généraux lisse le long de la même trajectoire dans le ciel, elle a été prise depuis ma première remarqué. J'ai commencé à filmer l'objet.

La vidéo montre clairement un objet lumineux se déplaçant dans le ciel, mais la structure fine de la formation n'a pas été bien captée par la caméra (qui, malheureusement, n'a pas de zoom). I shot vidéo pendant environ 2 minutes de l'objet reculé dans le nord-ouest du ciel.

Quand il a été passer au-dessus et au nord, la formation semble être une grappe d'environ coplanar feux dans une sorte d'arrangement triangulaire. Il ne fait pas de son du tout.

En juger par la manière dont l'échelle de l'objet a changé car il a traversé le ciel, je pense qu'il était environ à la même hauteur, comme un avion de transport de passagers à l'altitude de croisière. L'expérience m'a laissé un peu excités et sidéré.

J'ai examiné la vidéo et a été quelque peu déçu de constater que la forme de l'objet sur la vidéo n'est pas claire. J'ai fait une couple de croquis rapide crayon pour enregistrer mon impression de la forme du cluster, puis a pris sa retraite au lit.

I was wrapping up some work on my computer at about 5:20 AM on June 20, 2009, when the morning twilight began to filter through the windows. It being my birthday, and the weather being particularly pleasant, I decided to go outside to observe the dawn sky. I stepped out onto my front porch and looked up into the southern sky. I immediately noticed a very bright object about 30 degrees above the horizon. At first, I thought it was a very bright planet, but I then noticed that it was moving towards me and to the northwest. As the object came closer, I could see that it was not a single point of light; instead, it was a cluster of lights which seemed to be traveling together in formation. The cluster did not resemble an airplane. Instead, it seemed to be composed of several individual elements of various sizes arranged in a "double-cross" or "diamond-like" pattern. The lights scintillated in a way that suggested to me that the morning sun which was just about to rise was reflecting off the object. I have often seen jets reflecting sunlight in the twilight hours, but this thing in the sky did not look at all like a plane. When I realized that I was definitely not seeing a conventional aircraft, I thought to myself, "I am seeing a f...ing UFO!" I raced inside and grabbed a small handheld video camera. By the time I got back outside (about 40 seconds later), the object had moved overhead along the same smooth trajectory in the sky it had been taking since I first noticed it. I began filming the object. The video clearly shows a bright object moving in the sky, but the fine structure of the formation was not clearly captured by the camera (which unfortunately does not have a zoom lens). I shot video for about 2 minutes as the object receded into the northwestern sky. When it was passing overhead and to the north, the formation appeared to be a cluster of roughly coplanar lights in a sort of triangular arrangement. It made no sound at all. Judging from the way the scale of the object changed as it moved across the sky, I would guess that it was approximately at the same height as a passenger jet at cruising altitude. The experience left me excited and a bit flabbergasted. I reviewed the video footage and was somewhat disappointed to find that the shape of the object on the video was not clear. I made a couple of quick pencil-sketches to record my impression of the cluster's shape, and then retired to bed.
